Bacon Cheese Dog

• Nathans Cheese Dogs or Nathans plain Dogs plus shredded cheddar
• Thick Cut Cured Bacon (Your Choice)
• Mayo, Mustard, Ketchup (of course), chopped white onion
• Duram Wheat Rolls

     This was done on the BBQ over whole mesquite, my personal favorite but you can use whatever you want.  We used the enameled cast iron here. 

     Split the dog, stuff with cheese, then wrap with bacon.  Use a couple of toothpicks to pin the ends of the bacon unless you're handy with bacon knots.  DO NOT forger to remove the toothpicks, yes?  I learned that the hard way.  

    My tastes are simple, and as such there were simply dressed with kechup, mayo, mustard and chopped white onions.
